The musician was cured of an autoimmune disease four years ago

Keyboardist and founder of the band RPMs, Luiz Schiavon, died this Thursday 15, at the age of 64. He had been treating an autoimmune disease for four years. The information was confirmed by the musician’s family. According to a statement, Luiz Shiavon had complications during a treatment surgery and couldn’t resist.

“Luiz was, in his public persona, conductor, composer, founder and keyboardist of RPMs, but above all a good son, nephew, husband, father and friend. We hope you will remember him with his artistry and energy of music, a legacy he has left us as a gift that will live on in our hearts,” the family said, in an excerpt from the lyrics.

A farewell ceremony it will be reserved only for friends and relatives. In the report, the family underlines it: “They greet each other, listening to his agreements, paying homage on social networks, magazines and newspapers, or simply remembering him with affection, the same affection he has always had with all those who lived with him”.

Schiavon was responsible for creating the sound of RPM, a band that transformed Brazilian pop with songs like Look 43, ice blonde, rotations per minute AND Pirate radioamong many other hits that marked the 80s.
