Thais Piza’s new single, ‘Antagonista’, arrived on all digital platforms this Friday, June 16
Thaís Pizza showcases rebellious ‘girl-woman’ transition in new single “Antagonist”, produced by Burning Records. Inspired by the “rock attitude” that the singer usually applies to her songs, the singer revealed to Rolling Stone Brazil that the track starts a new era of his career.
“Antagonist” will be part of the first EP of pizzawhich will feature 4 tracks – including the song “Outside”, which will be their next release. On the process of creating the track, pizza revealed to have written the song more than ten years ago, at the time he studied Theater at college and sang in bars.
It’s still a song I can relate to a lot. She talks about self-boycott, about losing track of boundaries, freaking out and having that little moral hangover of: ‘Damn, what am I doing with my life?’

I think it’s crazy that I was approved to live my first major protagonist at the Theater at the same time as I launch “Antagonist”. I always joke at shows before we play this song: “Everyone is the protagonist of their own life! I am the antagonist in mine because I only do stupid things.”
The montage is based on the iconic 1990 film starring Richard Gere It is Julia Robertswho became one of the biggest artists in the world due to the success of the film.
