The legendary British pianist Elton John bid a heartfelt farewell to Glastonbury Festival this Sunday (25) accompanied by special guests, including the ex-beatle Paul McCartney.

John, from 76 years oldrose to Pyramid stadium to present their great classics as part of the tour Goodbye Yellow Brick Road which became an unprecedented success in the history of the music and entertainment industry, grossing over 887 million dollars.

Among the invited big names such as Jacob Lusk, Brandon Flowers, Stephen Sanchez and Rina SawayamaFurthermore McCartney. Taron Egertonwho played Elton John in the biopic Rocket manhe was also watching the pianist’s concert.

jacob lusk joined to Elton John and a gospel choir to sing Are you ready for lovewhile the singer of The murderers took the stage for a rendition of Little dancer.

Rina Sawayama took over the role of singer Kiki Dee for a duet on Don’t go and break my heart.

During their last UK show, Elton John paid tribute to a deceased friend George Michael with the song Don’t let the sun go down on me. They also recorded a version for the classic which topped the world charts in 1991.

It was the last curtsy of Elton John to your home region.
