On the track, created in collaboration with Daniel Nigro, the star delivers a pop-rock ballad, sings about the anger and regret of “feeling used,” and presents fans with a clip full of dramatic scenes. Watch:
I think it’s just a song about feeling used, and all the anger and regret and heartbreak that comes with it. And I think it’s a common feeling, whether someone is famous or not,” the singer told Billboard of the new single.
βIt was something that was really bubbling up inside me β it’s kind of an angry song, and I think I have a lot of trouble expressing feelings like anger and regret, those are especially hard to express. I feel very comfortable expressing in everyday life. So it has been a very therapeutic experience to write this song.”Olivia added.
“INTESTINE” will be the successor of “ACID”, an album released in 2021 that conquered audiences and critics. With hits like “Driver’s license”, “Already seen” AND “Good 4 U”, the record earned Olivia three 2022 Grammy wins, including Breakthrough Artist.
