“She was the inspiration for me to write the other tracks on the EP. In it I talk about how I’ve learned from the power of the women who have passed through my life – my mother, my grandmother, aunts – about how we must recognize the strength of the “marie” and change these pre-established concepts. Maria doesn’t go with others, she can go alone!”, says the singer.
