The host Manuel Soares took to social media this Wednesday (5) to show her off resignation letter and hit the harassment allegations which he faced.
In a video, Soares left a message on Instagram.
“I have a lot of good news to bring here about new things that are coming and that will bring us closer, but I want to put the closure on this topic first. Let’s follow the teachings of our teacher Conceição Evaristo: “They agreed to kill us and we decided to do not die”, wrote the artist.
As for the alleged allegations of harassment, the newspaper Folha de São Paulo published an article about a woman who felt uncomfortable after the presenter walked in a bathrobe in the halls of Globe.
“With my departure from Rede Globo, a lot of fake news has become public speculating why. It is unfortunate that some are using important tools of journalism to support nonsense involving my name. I am not the first nor the last man with my origins that will be targeted for attacks in this way. For centuries they have used the strategy of allegedly violent behavior to disqualify black men.
