The singer recorded a DVD in São Paulo, at the end of 2022, and it featured artists like IZA, Wanessa and her father, Xororó
Singer Sandy Leah started this Thursday 6, the release of excerpts from her DVD ‘We, voice, them’, recorded at the end of 2022 in São Paulo. The clips will be released weekly on their YouTube channel.
In a press conference held this Thursday, Sandy recalled the moment.
“It was very emotional. I am very satisfied. From the first cut the director showed me, I was transported back to that night, which seemed like another magical night,” she said.
The DVD features special guest appearances by the artist. Her father, Xororó, and her husband, the musician Lucas Lima, are among the guests of the production. The work, shot over two days, also features IZA, Thiaguinho, Wanessa, Maria Gadú, Anavitória, Melim, Agnes Nunes, Vitor Kley, OUTROEU and pianist Amaro Freitas.
“Everyone who has been involved in this project has my admiration,” Sandy said.
Of all the songs, one, in particular, is special to the artist. “De Cada Vez”, recorded with Agnes Nunes, moves Sandy. It was the last song she sang to her godmother, Paty Kisser, as she lay in a hospital bed battling colon cancer. Paty died last year.
Sandy’s DVD release
There is still no set date for the full DVD release, however, the artist has ensured that it should happen by the end of this year. Especially since she has a solo project planned for 2024.
“I intend the next project to be solo, with new compositions,” he teased.
