Elton John is nominated for Emmy Awards and approaches EGOT status

Four days after performing their last show, Elton John received an Emmy Award nomination. The list of nominees this Wednesday (12) placed the singer in the category Best Variety Special (Live) for its Disney+ variety show Elton John: Farewell From Dodger Stadium (Live).
