Jazz icon Tony Bennett dies aged 96

Singer well known for his works in jazz and pop music, Tony Bennett died at the age of 96 on the morning of this Friday, the 21st, according to information from Variety.

Even with the diagnosis of Alzheimer’s in 2016, Bennett continued in music until 2021, with concerts and record recordings (one of the main ones was Love for Salemade in partnership with Lady Gaga) and previously unreleased songs.
