Singer Arlindo Cruz has been discharged this Sunday the 23rd after being hospitalized for 20 days. The 64-year-old singer was admitted to Casa de Saúde São José, in Humaitá, Rio de Janeiro, on July 2, where he received medical treatment at the Intensive Care Center (CTI) after being diagnosed with pneumonia.
On social media, his daughter Flora Cruz posted a photo next to Arlindo this Sunday and wrote: “The love of my life is back home!”.
The singer’s fans posted messages of affection in the publication. “My biggest idol! My love! The perfect sambista! May God and the orixás bless you today and always!” one fan wrote. Another wished the singer health and strength for her daughter: “It is true that God gives us comfort to see a loved one like this, no matter how much care there is, there is always a feeling of sadness, anguish. Always go Flora”.
In March 2017, Arlindo Cruz suffered a hemorrhagic stroke after feeling sick at home. The singer was hospitalized for about a year and a half and had several consequences.
