Brazilian DJ and producer Alok performed on the main stage of Tomorrowland a Belgium Saturday afternoon (10pm) and surprised by playing a remix with the woman’s voice screaming Pickpocketing serviceentertaining everyone present at the festival, as well as the web.
It is not the first time that the artist enters the wave of current events: he, who is one of the most important Brazilian artists, is always attentive to the trends.
Without a doubt, it was the most anticipated and most talked about attraction on the first weekend of the iconic Belgian festival. In addition to the meme remix, alok delivered a ladder electrifying with his shots hits, as well as previously unreleased music, including his next major release featuring The Chainsmokersscheduled for the month of September.
In front of an exuberant stage with the artistic inspiration that defines the incomparable production of the tomorrowlandunder the theme Arcadian, charming city where the boundaries between reality and imagination blur with magic, alok offered a show of lights, colors and fireworks projected in front of the public, creating connection and human experience, through the encounter between the contagious energy of electronic music and the euphoria of a large-scale festival.

alok has a long and solid relationship with the festival: the artist has performed in various editions of tomorrowland which occurred in previous years. After this impressive performance in Belgium, the cradle of the electronic festival, it is worth mentioning that the Brazilian edition takes place in October at Mada parkin Itu, interior of the state of St. Paul and tickets sold out in three hours.
But before, alok prepares for something unprecedented: the artist hopes to receive more than 1 million people in the sands of Copacabana to the show of the century, in the biggest presentation of his career to date, this Wednesday (26). It will celebrate his birthday and the centenary of the hotel. Copacabana Palaceconsidered historical and cultural heritage of the Rio de Janeiro and one of the country’s greatest icons.
The show will also feature lasers never seen in Brazil and unique pyramid-shaped revolving stage with a height of approx 12 floors.
