Singer Katy Perry and her husband Orlando Bloom they were sued by a man from 83 years old following the purchase of a stately building in the city of Charles Westcotin California, United States.
According to newspaper information The New York Postthe former owner of the property regretted signing the contract with Perry AND floweringwhich ended in 2020, stating that carried out the negotiation under the influence of painkillers and opioids which he used for the complementary treatment of back surgery.
The building in question is worth $15 million (From BRL 73 million at the current exchange rate) and ha 6 rooms AND 12 bathrooms.
The newspaper also reports that when the effects of the painkillers wore off, the man, who had the Huntington’s diseasewhen he realized he had signed the document, he decided to terminate the contract.
“The combination of his age, the fragility of his back condition and recent surgery, plus the painkillers he was taking several times a day, made Mr. Westcott mentally unfit.”says the American newspaper.
The juridical body of Katy Perry AND Orlando Bloom they did not consider the former owner’s request and went so far as to state that he was obliged to complete the sale.
