Unlike most artists, who post something teasing new music on their social media, Selena Gomez followed the traditional route of teasing their new music: Attentive fans found a recently published website, illbesinglesoon.comwith the URL appearing on A4 posters in the city of Dallas, Texas.

The page features nothing but the words “Single Soon?” (single soon? in free translation) in big bold red letters. That’s not a big clue, but fans have begun to suspect the return of gomez into the music scene after discovering that the page is registered with Interscope Records, their current label.

As if that weren’t enough, there are also several social media icons at the bottom of the site, and they all take viewers to Instagram, Twitter and digital channels of Selena Gomez. It makes it pretty obvious who this is connected to, other than being connected to her music career.

In January of this year, the singer posted a series of images that appeared to be taken in a recording studio with the caption “3”, which fans speculated was about her third studio album. In the pictures, gomez is seen playing with blonde hair and cleaning up a spilled drink on the floor.

While Selena hasn’t announced the new song, or when it might be released, many fans have theorized that it could drop on August 25th. The singer posted a story that included a time slot of 8:25 am on the phone, which left fans thinking that could be a release date for the new song.

“Single Soon?” can refer to the numerous questions that gomez gets if she’s releasing a single soon, or it could be the title of the song she’s working on, which would be a good way to handle that marketing plan.

The most recent album by gomez, rarewas released in 2020 and spawned singles like “Look at Her Now” It is “Lose You to Love Me”in addition to placing the disc at number one on the Billboard 200 chart. Revelation(2021), reached number 1 on the Latin Albums chart of billboard.
