The man wanted to hand the hat to the singer when the commotion started; in addition to the assault, prime ministers threw tear gas in his face
A fan of singer Gusttavo Lima claims he was hanged and attacked by security guards during a show in Goiânia. According to the 33-year-old man, who declined to be named, he only wanted to give the singer a hat. According to him, when he tried to ask the military police at the scene to file a police report, he was hit in the face with tear gas.
The case occurred on Saturday night, 2, during the show pub. The fan was in the ‘Ambassador’ area, which is located in front of the stage, accompanied by his wife, when he decided to go backstage to deliver a hat to Gusttavo Lima.
“Earlier that same day, I also have a photo with Maiara [da dupla com Maraísa] wear that hat. When Gusttavo Lima’s show started, I went to where he was supposed to deliver it, but on the way, a man, who was drunk, wouldn’t let me pass and called the security guards,” he said in an interview with Earth.
According to the man, security called him to talk it out and, fearing for his life, he refused. On the second negative the attacks began. “About six security guards came to me. They gave me a choke from behind and twisted my arm behind them as they dragged me along. They kicked me out and closed the gate. I’m covered in bruises,” he said.
After being ejected, the man saw he was standing next to a PM vehicle and decided to get help: “I said, ‘Man, I just got attacked. They took my strength away and I didn’t do anything’, register me please, the BO? He refused and I said: ‘I know it’s my right to do the bulletin’, he refused again and so I started recording them.”
The informant says that, after starting to record, the policeman took his cell phone and deleted the video. Then, the man says he took his cell phone out of the hands of the military and, at that moment, they threw tear gas in his face.
“I spent about 40 minutes agonizing on the floor. You can’t see anything, the pain is inhuman. I ran towards the light and fell to the ground. I started yelling for help and nobody from the event came to me”.
While he was on the ground, the man says that, after 20 minutes, someone from the organization picked him up and took him to the Samu (Mobile Emergency Care Service) stand, where a doctor checked him.
After reuniting with his wife, the fan said he had filed a police report about the incident and had undergone a medical examination at the Instituto Médico Legal (IML). “I’m reporting this because I don’t want it to happen to anyone else. I was outraged. My hat is gone, my glasses are gone, I’ve lost my belongings. I went to see a show and the show I wanted to see I didn’t get to see,” he complained. “No one from the production contacted me.”
OR Earth contacted the singer’s advisory office and the Military Police but received no response as of the last update of this report.
