Marina Sena blames Sony Music for not being nominated for a Latin Grammy

Singer Marina Sena was not happy about being left out of the running for the 2023 Latin Grammy Awards this Tuesday (19). For her, the fault lies with Sony Music, the record label with which she has a contract, for not having presented her latest album Intrinsic vice to the biggest prize in Latin music.

For the artist, the Sony failed at some point during the recording from disk to Latin Grammy.

“Hey guys, the reason I wasn’t specifically nominated in the “Portuguese-language contemporary pop album” category is not because I wasn’t voted, but because my album didn’t even have a chance to get through voting”, started Marina Sena. “What I was hoping was that everything would go well with my application, but there was an error in the way between my record company and the Latin Grammy and therefore my album was not eligible for voting. We don’t know where the error is. “

And he added: “But that’s it. ‘Inherent Vice’ didn’t even have a chance to lose. Sad, but let’s get on with life.”

A Latin Academy of Arts and Recording announced this Tuesday (19th) the complete list of candidates to the 2023 edition of Latin Grammywhich will take place at SevilleTO Spainin the day November 16.

Among the Brazilians were indicated IZA, Tulipa Ruiz, Gaby Amarantos, Maria Rita, Djavan, Rachel Reis, Vanessa da Mata, João Gomes and the late Marília Mendonça.
