Adidas CEO defends Kanye West after anti-Semitic speech: ‘I don’t think he meant it’

Kanye West’s anti-Semitic speeches resulted in split between Adidas and Yeezy

The CEO of Adidas, Bjorn Guldentalked about Kanye West on the podcast In Good Company (via NME). Adidas broke up with the rapper and his Yeezy brand after statements seen as anti-Semitic by westlast year.

“When you work with third parties, this can happen. It’s part of the game. This can happen with an athlete, a presenter… It’s part of the business,” he said Gulden. He further added: “I think Kanye West He is one of the most creative people in the world, both in music and in what I would call street culture. He is extremely creative.”
