Oasis releases new video for ‘Acquiesce’; watch

New content for ‘Acquiesce’ is part of the 25th anniversary celebration of the musical compilation The Masterplan (1998)

To celebrate 25 years of the musical collection The Masterplan (1998), Oasis released a new music video for “Acquiesce,” which features the lyrics of the song. However, this does not indicate a return of the brothers Santa It is Liam Gallagher to the iconic British rock band.

It is worth remembering how the original album is made up of songs that were “B-sides” of the singles released for the group’s first three studio albums: Definitely Maybe, (What’s the Story) Morning Glory? It is Be Here Now.

The lyric video for “Acquiesce” includes archive images of shows performed by Oasisas well as vintage elements inspired by the 1990s. The verses of the song appear in the recording environment and on an old tube television.

Over the The Masterplan original: the collection reached second place in the official UK album chart at the time of its release, on November 2, 1998, and sold approximately 122 thousand copies in the first week. Today, the album has gone triple platinum and has sold more than three million units worldwide. See the full tracklist of The Masterplan (Remastered Edition) below:
