On the podium: Italo Ferreira reveals his 5 favorite musicians

The world champion revealed how he uses music as a ritual before competitions and listed his favorite singers, from Chris Brown to L7NNON

World champion in 2019 and gold medalist at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, Italo Ferreira Today, it deals with the responsibility of being a reference in surfing. But before falling into the water and facing the waves that consecrated him, he admits to having a musical ritual that is beyond intimate.

In an interview with Rolling Stone Brazil, the Brazilian idol said that he usually uses music before competitions. He also spoke about the genres he listens to in his particular musical ritual:

“I like listening to a lot of trap and, at times, electronic.”

Asked about the essential artists on his playlist, the champion surfer made a male selection, with five representatives of the styles mentioned above. Firstly, mention Chris Brown. Afterwards, he returns to Brazil, more precisely to Rio de Janeiro, with L7NNON. Then cite Usher and then two other Brazilians, Filipe Ret It is Orochi.
