Cover of the new edition of Allure Magazine, Billie Eilish revealed details about the creative process of “What was I created for?”a hit song featured in the soundtrack of “Barbie” (2023).

According to the singer, she and Finneas O’Connell, his brother and collaborator, wrote the song in “an hour or two”. Additionally, Eilish spoke about the importance of the song that has moved so many women.

“It was like this song had been a little creature inside me for years, clawing at my insides. As soon as we got the warning, the creature said, ‘OK, I’m out,’ and we wrote this song in a Now.” or two,” she said.

“We wrote it during a period of time when we couldn’t have been less inspired and less creative. We were doing stuff that day and we thought, ‘We’ve lost control.
