We’re celebrating the album’s 10th anniversary Random access memory by electronic music duo Daft Punk continues with the announcement of pre-saving of the version Random access memory (Edition without battery) this Thursday (28th). A version in spatial audio with technology Dolby Atmos.
After the release of the edition Random Access Memories 10th Anniversary a new version of the winning album arrives earlier this year Grandmother. The new version eliminates all drum and percussion elements from the album. This dynamic lends a timeless quality to the album, giving listeners the chance to dive deeper into the layers of each track.
Access the memories (Drumless edition) creates a completely new experience and the tracks transform: Within (Drumless Edition) is the first track from the album available today. Stripped of percussion, this new version highlights the timeless structure of the song Cold Gonzales takes on an even more thoughtful and self-reflexive quality.
As part of the 10th anniversary of Random access memoryor Daft Punk also launched the Memory tapesa retrospective of the album’s creation by collaborators such as Julian Casablancas, Chilly Gonzales, DJ Falcon AND Todd Edwards. Episodes with PHarrell Williams, Nile Rodgers ANDPaul Williams and Chris Caswell they have to come.
The interviews for the Memory tapes were carried out in Henson Studios In Los Angeles AND Band studies In Paris, in the spaces where most of the random access memories were recorded and where the collaborators worked. Each episode includes a new interview, as well as archival and studio footage from the Daft Punknever seen before, as they created what became their final album.
