“Mamão” by Azymuth passed away in April this year and is honored at the Cineclube Cortina
Next Friday, October 6th, the Cortina Film Club welcomes the group Poison Fruit in tribute to the drummer Ivan Conti passed away in early 2023. The band now consists of Pedro Zopelar (keyboard), Rodrigo Coelho (low) and Nathalia Lima (percussion), now back Thiago Conti (drums), son of the former drummer Ivan Contialso called “Papaya”who passed away in April this year at the age of 76.
In December 2022, the Poison Fruit performed at the Cortina Film Clubmarking the last performance of Ivan Conti, four months before the artist passed away. Since then, Thiago took on the role of drummer and now, the quartet returns to the stage of Cortina Film Clubin the Republic, for a show dedicated to the memory of Ivanperforming songs from the album of the same name released in 2019. The show features elements of electronic samba, jazz, beats, dance music and even nuances of house and techno.
Before the Poison Fruit take the stage, the musical night will be inaugurated by the guests Ubuntu, Giu Nunez and Gigios. A special night for music lovers
