Foo Fighters singer performed an interlude of Led Zeppelin’s classic at a show last Sunday (1st), after noticing a fan feeling ill
Dave Grohl interrupted the show Foo Fighters last Sunday (1st) so that a fan could receive medical treatment in the audience. The presentation ran normally Ohana Fest 2023at Californiawhen Grohl noticed the fan’s discomfort and began to improvise the classic “Stairway to Heaven”, by Led Zeppelin.
“Should I stop playing while you guys take care of this?” Grohl asked the support team. “Go take care of it, I’ll play something while you do it.”
The vocalist continued talking to the audience and the support team while the fan was attended to: “are we okay yet?” he asked, still strumming the song’s introduction. When the situation apparently resolved itself, he joked:
“Can we play a f*cking Foo Fighters song now? Is the situation resolved yet? Great, because this is a f*cking long track, you know? And it gets weird when it speeds up, you’re picking someone up and they speed up, You’re like, ‘What do I do with my girlfriend now?'”
