The singer performs in the Nós, Voz, Eles tour in Portugal, Ireland and England; It’s the first tour the former couple has worked on together since announcing their split
Sandy performed this Friday 6th in Lisbon, Portugal, her first show since announcing the end of her marriage, for the tour of her album ‘nós, Voz, Eles’.
For the opening performance of the European season, the singer had the presence on stage of Lucas Lima, her ex-husband. It’s the first time the former couple has toured together.
On social media, some excerpts from the presentation show some moments of interaction between the couple on stage. In a video published on X, formerly Twitter, the singer appears holding Lucas’ hand and jokes with her ex-husband about the fact that they are on tour together.
“Since he’s going to accompany me on the European tour, I decided to check him out,” he says, laughing. “Let’s work, okay?” Then the duo starts singing All yours, a song where Sandy collaborates with Vitor Kley, on his latest album. Sandy also thanks her ex for touring and praises the musician. “On guitar, violin and super voice: Lucas Lima,” she says. “I’m very chic. Thank you, okay? For coming on tour with me.”
In another excerpt, Sandy and Lucas sing the song together Sand, a composition by the former couple. Over the course of almost 24 years of relationship, the duo shared other musical partnerships that told their story, between crises and moments of happiness. In the comments, fans showed their support for the couple’s return. “Is it too much to ask them to come back?” one wrote.
Sandy will remain in Portugal until Sunday 8th, when he will perform Port. The singer also has some dates scheduled Dublin AND London for the 11th and 13th respectively.
Confirmation that the former couple will continue to work together during the European tour was given during an appearance on High hours last Saturday, the 30th. “There is a friendship, an intimacy, a love that has lasted for 24 years. This will never change. For him and me it is not at all strange that we are here. We love each other very much, we are best friends and so on… which we will continue to be,” the singer declared at the time.
Lucas embarks on Sandy’s tour of Europe
Lucas left on Thursday the 5th for Portugal to participate in the tour of his ex-wife, the singer Sandy. On his social networks, the musician published this Friday, 6th, that he had already arrived in Lisbon and also a photo of a visit to a bar in Lisbon, the Copenhagen Coffee Lab.
Sandy, in turn, showed herself only behind the scenes of the show, directly from the stage of the Coliseu dos Recreios, where the presentation took place. In a video posted on her Instagram, Sandy celebrated the tour: “I’m in Lisbon, I’m in Lisbon! I’m doing the first show here. Yay,” she gushed.
