In a message published this Monday (9), the singer showed support for the Israeli people: “my heart goes to Israel”
Madonna spoke out this Monday (9) about the attacks on Israel. In the message published on her social networks, the singer expresses her regret for the lives lost last weekend and sides with Israel in the conflict with the terrorist group Hamas.
In the message, Madonna states that “humanity does not understand the universal truth”. She also says that “we live in a world filled with hate.” And, despite pondering the Palestinian position in the conflict (“I am aware that this is the work of Hamas and that there are many innocent people in Palestine who do not support this terrorist organization”), she demonstrates support for Israel.

What is Happening in Israel is Devastating.. Watching all of these families and especially children being inherited, assaulted and murdered in the streets is Heartbreaking.
Imagine if this was happening to you??
It’s Unfathomable.
Conflicts can never be resolved with violence.… pic.twitter.com/KHvMvdL8sg— Madonna (@Madonna) October 9, 2023
“What is happening in Israel is devastating. Seeing all these families and especially children being injured, robbed and murdered in the streets is heartbreaking. Imagine if this happened to you? It is incomprehensible.
Conflicts should never be resolved with violence. Unfortunately, humanity does not understand the universal truth. Never understood. We live in a world filled with hate.
My heart goes to Israel. For the families and homes destroyed. For the children we lost. For the innocent victims who were killed. For all those who are suffering or will suffer from this conflict.
I’m praying for you. I am aware that this is the work of Hamas and that there are many innocent people in Palestine who do not support this terrorist organization. This tragic attack will only cause more suffering for everyone.
Let us pray. For Israel. For peace. For the planet.”
Gal Gadot and Natalie Portman speak out
Madonna is not the first artistic personality to speak out about the conflict. Since last Saturday morning (7), when the country was the target of missile attacks by the terrorist group Hamas, actresses such as Gal Gadot and Natalie Portmanboth Israeli, have already posted public messages on the subject.
“At least 100 Israelis have been murdered and dozens of women, children and elderly people are being taken hostage in Gaza by Hamas,” Gadot wrote.
Actress Natalie Portman also spoke out on her Instagram profile, where she shared a message of solidarity with her homeland. “My heart is in pieces. Children, women and elderly people were murdered and kidnapped from their own homes,” the statement said.
