“In the last few days I have experienced a very big shock,” he wrote in a post on Instagram this Tuesday, 10. “War is always a tragedy, but it happening where your family or acquaintances are is a feeling I wouldn’t wish on anyone.”
Bhaskar said he was “completely devastated” for the victims of the attacks and their families. “This was very close to what happened to my father. I can’t stop thinking about it,” he reportedly said.
The musician commented on the conversation he had with Juarez when his father received an invitation to play at a party in Israel. Bhaskar said he was very excited about the DJ and commented that he also felt the desire to perform in the country, which has a culture of electronic music strong.
“I felt bad for saying this, but we had no way of knowing everything that was going to happen,” he wrote, saying the venue had been hosting events for years. “When a conflict causes the death of civilians who have nothing to do with it, regardless of which side they are on, it is a disaster. It is inhumane.”
