Justin bieber spoke again about health on social media, revealing that he has a syndrome called Ramsay Hunt, which causes facial paralysis due to infection of the facial and auditory nerve. This Friday, the 10th, the Canadian singer explained to fans about the cancellations of the dates of the Justice World Tour.
“Hey guys. Justin here. I just wanted to update you on what’s going on. [comigo]. Obviously, as you can see from my face, I have this syndrome called Ramsay Hunt. It’s this virus that attacks the nerves in my ears and face. It caused my face to become paralyzed,” he said in a video on Instagram. (via Faces)
Bieber He added: “As you can see, this eye of mine isn’t blinking, I can’t smile on this side of my face, this nostril doesn’t move… so this whole side of my face is paralyzed. So for those of you who are frustrated by the cancellations of the upcoming shows, I’m just physically obviously not able to do them. This is pretty serious, as you can see.”
“I wish that weren’t the case, but clearly my body is telling me I need to slow down and I hope you guys understand,” he explained. “I’m going to use this time just to rest and relax, to get back to being 100% and then be able to do what I was born to do, but for now, I can’t.”
Bieber ended video thanking fans for their support: “I’m going to rest so I can recover my face and get back to how it should be. I love you, thank you for being patient with me, I’m going to get better and I’m doing all the special exercises to get my face back to normal …it will come back, it just takes a while and we don’t know how much it will be but it will be ok. I have hope, I trust in God and that all of this is for a reason. I’m not sure what it is at the moment, but in the meantime I will rest. And I love you. Peace.”

Justin Bieber postpones concerts for health reasons: ‘I did everything to get better’
This wasn’t the first time Bieber talked about health this week. Last Tuesday, the 7th, the singer had a worsening health condition with Lyme disease, a tick-borne infection diagnosed in the singer in 2020.
“I can’t believe I’m going to say this. I’ve done everything to get better, but my illness is getting worse. My heart breaks knowing how I need to postpone these upcoming shows (medical orders). To all my fans, I love you so much and I’m going to rest and be fine ,” he wrote Bieber in the publication.
