The revelation about her relationship with Justin Timberlake is part of the singer’s biography, “The Woman in Me,” which will be released on October 24
Britney Spears revealed she had an abortion during her relationship with Justin Timberlake in her autobiography, The woman in mewhich will be released on October 24 in the United States.
In the book, the singer shared the story for the first time and reported that the decision to terminate the pregnancy was motivated by her then-boyfriend, Timberlake, who at the time “didn’t want to be a father.”
“It was a surprise, but for me it wasn’t a tragedy. I loved Justin very much. I always hoped that one day we would have a family together. It would have happened much sooner than I expected,” she said, who considers the breakup “one of the most painful things” I have ever experienced.
“But Justin definitely wasn’t happy with the pregnancy. He said we weren’t ready to have a baby in our lives, that we were too young. I don’t know if that was the right decision. If it had been left just for me, I wouldn’t have left it never did. Justin was very sure he didn’t want to be a father,” he explained.
Britney and Justin Timberlake were in a relationship from 1999 to 2002. In 2005, the singer had her first child Sean Preston, the following year she gave birth to Jayden, both as a result of her relationship with Kevin Federline.
