Rolling Stones and Lady Gaga perform “Sweet Sounds of Heaven” for the first time live

The song is part of the Rolling Stones’ new album, available this Friday (20) on all digital platforms

To celebrate the new wave of new songs from Rolling Stonesthe band held a surprise launch party on Thursday night (19), in New York, which was attended by Lady Gaga – who participated in the album in “Sweet Sounds of Heaven” and insisted on singing the song live for the first time.

Hackney Diamonds is their first studio album with original material since 2005, when they released The Bigger Bang, and the first since the death of the drummer Charlie Wattsin 2021. The record’s title came from old British slang for broken glass and specifically refers to the broken glass that occurs when windows are broken during a robbery.

In addition to the private show, theRolling Stones will be printed on a limited edition – with just 1899 units – of the Barcelona. With the launch of Hackney Diamondsthe band will sell an exclusive package that includes a vinyl with the Barcelona crest and a retro t-shirt, inspired by the 1960s, when the band was formed.
