Alcione is suing the RJ bar that bears his name for allegedly failing to pay for the use of the image


Called ‘Bar Alcione, A Casa da Marrom’, the venue is located in Barra da Tijuca, in the capital of Rio de Janeiro; the institution has not yet commented on the case

Singer Alcyone is processing a pub to the Rio de Janeiro which bears his name. The information was published by the columnist Ancelmo Gois, of The globeand confirmed by the artist’s press office and by Court of Justice of Rio de Janeiro (TJRJ) to the Estadao this Monday, 23. So far the establishment has not commented on the case.

Alcione accuses the entrepreneur Vinícius Correa, who manages the venue, of not having paid the rights to use the image requested by the singer. Called “Bar Alcione, A Casa da Marrom”, the place is located in Barra da Tijucain the capital of Rio de Janeiro.

The singer allowed the use of the name on the condition that she acquire a share of the bar’s profits, but does not agree with the company’s responsibility. She also claims that payments made to the artist are late.
