Actor Jeremy Renner, who plays Gavião Arqueiro in the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe), announced on his social networks a new musical project entitled “Love and Titanium”, inspired by his recovery journey after a serious accident that occurred at the beginning of year. While shoveling snow around his residence, he was hit by a snowplow, broke more than 30 bones and nearly lost his life.
From accident to art
After a long recovery process, he plans to return to activities. On his Instagram, the actor shared the first project: “A collection of songs we wrote about different milestones in my recovery journey since January 1st of this year. ‘Love and Titanium’ was painful, healing and cathartic for me. I hope I have the courage to share it with you all.”
The project’s title, “Love and Titanium,” alludes to Renner’s words about his recovery, in which he mentioned being “recharged and full of love and titanium,” a metal that strengthened the bones in his body after the accident .
In the Instagram post, a possible album cover is revealed, accompanied by the phrase “coming Soon”, without further details on the release date.
