Naldo denies having asked for R$50 to take a photo with a fan: “It’s a joke”

The video in which the singer asks to be photographed with a fan has gone viral on social media

A video with the singer Naldo Benny in which he charges R$50 to take a photo with a fan went viral on social media. After the backlash, the singer spoke out about the incident and explained that it was all just “a joke.”

Naldo posted a video on his Instagram this Friday, the 27th, in which he explains what happened. “I have never asked to take a photo with anyone or a video. It’s a joke, the video really exists, it’s everywhere in the world. But I didn’t pay. At that moment Strawberry Shortcake even shouts, “take a picture there.” I have a habit of joking with people: “Today is not Saturday, Saturday costs R$100, today costs R$50”, but it was a joke. The person who made the video knows it’s a joke,” she explained.

In sequence, Naldo explains that the person shared the video “out of pure malice” and out of context. “Out of pure malice, to gain likes and views, he posted the video, cut it on the spot and let it happen, because right after I said, ‘It’s a joke, bro, you can take the photo right here, there it’s no charge,'” he said.

“And a video with a public person, with expression, will gain a lot of visibility. This made her ego happy, but this is very bad for me,” she concluded. Watch the video below!
