Singer Branco Mello, a member of Titãs, has undergone surgery to remove a tumor on his tongue. The information was released this Saturday (28/10) on the artist’s social networks, but the procedure was carried out a week ago.
“I’m already at home and I’m recovering, very well! See you soon at the concerts!”, wrote the musician, warning that “he’s fine”. In addition to this comment, he published a note from his advisor.
“Branco Mello, singer and bassist of the band Titãs, underwent surgery on October 20, 2023 to remove a small initial tumor on the edge of his tongue. He is well and is recovering to return to the stage of the Titãs Encontro tour in Lisbon on November 3rd”, reads the text.
Other health problems
Branco has had other health problems recently. He was diagnosed with laryngeal cancer in 2018, when he underwent treatment. But he suffered a recurrence in 2021, when she underwent new procedures to treat the disease.
