Britney Spears’ autobiography “The Woman in Me” is to be made into a film. The American website Deadline has revealed that several film studios are fighting for the rights to the work, which brings with it several unprecedented – and controversial – revelations about the singer’s life and career.
According to the site, negotiations are ongoing, with several offers for the production, whose format is open and could become a drama or documentary. There is also the possibility of a miniseries, with a proposal for a streaming platform.
Released last Tuesday (24/10), the book brought to light the singer’s abortion, after pressure from Justin Timberlake, with whom she had had a relationship in the late ’90s, as well as recounting her traumatic experience with protection that took away her rights and personal will.
