The singer Priscilla Alcantara announced this Tuesday (31) on her social networks her name change which will inaugurate her new musical phase. She explained the change in an outburst on social media.
With the new stage name Priscillathe singer explained of the change: “I am very proud of my journey, every detail brought me here, always excited by the new, by the different, by what I haven’t seen yet, haven’t experienced… I have never been satisfied ever, I think that’s why that when I look back, I see the courage to try, make mistakes, mature and CHANGE.”
Comparing the new phase to a process of improvement, the artist explained how much she has evolved so far as a person: “We are a brutally cut diamond and each diamond is unique, it makes no sense to expect one to be the same as another. This is where my heart is and this is where my art comes from. I am grateful for everything I have experienced as Priscilla Alcantara. Only I know the joys, but also the many pains that the baggage of that name brings me. This is why I decided to leave it here and continue to be just PRISCILLA”, explained.
And he concluded: “And let the new era begin, let the new era begin, PRISCILLA.”
