The Beatles’ last song is finally among us. “Now and Then” is credited to Lennon, McCartney, Harrison and Starr. And indeed the four Liverpool legends play a role in the song.
It was built over a period of 45 years. It was the draft of a song, composed by John Lennon in 1978, which was not included in his last album “Milk and Honey”.
After his murder, his widow, Yoko Ono, gave the tape John recorded to the other Beatles. This was the beginning. Now it is finally released as a single together with “Love Me Do”, the Beatles’ debut single.
