English singer and songwriter Roger Waters will play his last shows of his tour this Saturday and Sunday, November 11 and 12 This is not a drill – his farewell to the stage – for Brazil. In the show that Waters performed at the Nílton Santos Stadium, in Rio de Janeiro, on October 28, the singer told the audience. “I could stay here, drowned in your love, until the end of my days. How to get to Allianz

The old advice applies here. The intense flow of cars makes fast transport (motorcycles and, for those who live in the region, bicycles) the best solution. As a region well served by bus lines, these are also an option. The Allianz website mentions the over 30 lines that pass in front of the stadium.

Those traveling by metro or train can get off at Palmeiras/Barra Funda station, where the CPTM red line, Ruby and Diamond lines pass. It is about a 10 minute walk from the arena. Good for those who don’t want the hassle of leaving.

There are car parks nearby, but they generally charge a high price on match days and shows at the Allianz.

A few meters from Rua Palestra Itália, the large Lareira bakery has been a popular destination. If you take an Uber, the advice is to stay there until the crowds that gather after the shows have dissipated. It’s not worth fighting over a driver. For those who go there after the show, around 11.30pm, a good option will be the soup buffet served with a wide variety of breads.

When you arrive, just know that the service at this place is terrible and horrible. Servers are poorly trained and the delay for an a la carte order can be exhausting. In other words: choose the buffet, which is worth it for the quality of the soups. After all, it only depends on your agility.
