According to model Sheila Kennedy, the attack occurred during a party in 1989.
Axl Rose, 61, lead singer of Guns N’ Roses, has been accused of sexually assaulting model Sheila Kennedy during a party in 1989, according to a lawsuit filed in the Supreme Court of New York (USA).
In the trial, reported by Rolling Stone magazine, Kennedy claimed to have met Axl Rose in a nightclub in New York (USA) in February 1989. She, a model for Penthouse magazine, claimed that, that same night, the singer had sexually assaulted her in your hotel room.
“Stealthing” and other acts that may constitute rape
Kennedy reportedly said a friend invited her to go to the club to try to meet the band. She then stated that after meeting Rose, he invited her to a party at her hotel. Again according to the process, Axl Rose was reportedly waiting for her outside the bathroom where she was staying “he pushed Kennedy against the wall and kissed her.”
“Kennedy found Rose attractive and didn’t mind this encounter. She was willing to sleep with him if things progressed,” informs the process. However, Rose revealed that his meeting with the singer “It immediately became not only uncomfortable but also disturbing, I might add that he encouraged her to have group sex.”
At a certain point, after having expressed disinterest, Sheila Kennedy argued that Axl Rose it was left “furious” and dropped her to the ground.
“While Kennedy was still on the floor, Rose grabbed her by the hair and dragged her across the suite and back to her room.”the lawsuit stated. “This was very painful for Kennedy and caused his knees to bleed from the scratches on the carpet.”
“He treated her like property used exclusively for his sexual pleasure,” continued the process. “She did not use a condom. Kennedy did not consent and felt dominated. She felt she had no escape or escape and was forced to comply. She believed Rose would physically attack her, or worse, if she said no or tried to Push him though. She figured the safest thing to do was lie down on the bed and wait for Rose to finish attacking her.”
Axl Rose he denied the accusations through his lawyer, Alan Gutmann: “Simply put, this incident never happened. Notably, these fictitious claims were filed the day before New York State’s filing deadline.”
And he concluded: “Mr. Rose is confident that this case will be resolved in his favor.”
