With this motto the singer and composer YOHANa rising star in the world of music, is ready to make a historic comeback with his new single, Round 6. Co-authored by the artist himself and Tai Verotothe song will be released on November 22, 2023.
In the project, YOHAN collaborated with the famous manufacturer Zaynknown for his work on songs such as one again For Anita AND MC Zaac.
Round 6 is the first single of YOHAN in almost a year and marks the beginning of a new era. He describes the song as a narrative that draws parallels between violent games of competition and games of love, particularly his experience in a toxic relationship. She aims to empower her fans and serve as an anthem to self-love and revenge.
According to the artist, the goal of the statement is to expose his truth to his fans through vulnerability: “With this song, I want my fans to feel vindicated. I want them to feel strong and invincible in the face of any toxic relationship. Ultimately, I want this song to be an anthem of self-love and revenge. YOHANwhich represents the Brazil in the new reality show Netflixreflects on their experiences: “The competition was a reality with marked cards, abusive contracts and zero real chances of winning any million-dollar prize. We were just unpaid extras. Desolate, I decided to stay in Europe for a month, and it was at that moment that I met someone who would changed my life once again. I was consumed by loneliness, professional disillusionment and vulnerability. I fell in love, blinded myself and humiliated myself. I allowed myself to be deceived, manipulated and used.”
About the sixth round clip
The music video of Round 6 was filmed and produced in Hollywood, California (United States). He establishes a parallel between the participation of YOHAN in the competition of Netflix and the toxic relationship he had to deal with. The video playfully explores the desire for fame and money, which the competition could have offered if it wasn’t a farce. Scenes in a prison environment symbolize abuse of power in the entertainment industry and toxic relationships.
Filming was a whirlwind, completed in just four hours, with numerous costume and scene changes. A fun fact is that the number that YOHAN dialing a public telephone in one of the scenes corresponds to the contest participant number: 379.
