The streaming service Spotify released this Wednesday (29/11) a retrospective of the year, revealing that country singer Ana Castela was the most listened to artist in the country in 2023 on the platform, in addition to also being the owner of the song with the greatest number of flows.
Two years after her death, Marilia Mendonça also appears in the selection with the second most played song (“Leão”), as well as being part of the Top 5 of the most listened to artists in the country. By the way, this list is dominated by country artists with one exception: MC Ryan who represents funk.
Leaders in ratings, the duo Israel and Rodolffo have marked two songs in the list of the 5 most streamed songs: “Bombonzinho”, in collaboration with Ana Castela, and “Seu Brilho Sumiu”, with Mari Fernandez.
The biggest surprise is that, among the most listened to Brazilians abroad, Alok has surpassed Anitta.
The international report is dominated by Taylor Swift, despite the singer having no songs in the Top 5. And there is a curious detail in the list of most listened to albums: the inclusion of a 2016 album by The Weekend.
