Simone did not interact with her sister and appeared to watch her young daughter, who was one of the bridesmaids at the ceremony, make an entrance after her. In the video the two did not say goodbye at that moment.

Simone, 39, and Simaria Mendes, 41, were godmothers of the union of Caio Mendes and Mayara Cardoso. The video sparked controversy on social media. Some Internet users considered Simaria’s behavior inappropriate as she crossed the altar during the entrance of the pages.
