Cid Moreira thanks his grandmother who ‘ruined’ the Spotify retrospective by listening to Salmo almost 500 times; I wait

Dona Maria received a video from the journalist after her grandson published that Moreira had been his most listened to artist, with 1,511 minutes, thanks to his grandmother

Last Wednesday, the 29th, a young man named Guilherme decided to share his frustration with his Spotify retrospective on X (formerly Twitter). He joked that his grandmother’s “hyperfocus” on Psalm 91 as narrated by Cid Moreira had “ruined” his ranking of the most listened to songs.

The 96-year-old journalist, whose Bible account is available on the streaming platform, was the most listened to artist on Guilherme’s profile (shared with his grandmother), with a whopping 1,511 minutes. Psalm 91 was the most listened to “song”, with 488 reproductions during the year.

What Guilherme and his grandmother, Dona Maria, did not expect was that the publication reached Cid Moreira himself and that the lady received a video from the presenter. In collaboration with Spotify, he recorded a thank you for her and everyone who listened to the Psalm in 2023. Watch:

Cid’s message reached Dona Maria and Guilherme decided to record his grandmother’s reaction upon seeing the journalist’s message. “What a show. Hello dear, Cid Moreira. What happiness, what joy you give me. It’s a pleasure, every morning I listen to the psalm twice”, he said.

“I was very happy to see your face, talk and thank you. For me it was a very big victory. I thank you from the bottom of my heart. I hope you are very happy,” he added. I wait:
