Five teachers and 50 students were invited to experience the artist’s soundcheck, but they also received free tickets
After surprising fans with an intimate show at Clube do Choro, in Brasilia, Paul McCartney decided to give music students from the University of Brasilia (UnB) premium tickets for the show which took place on Thursday 30th at the Mané stadium Garrincha . .
The information was confirmed to Estadão by the UnB press office. It all started when the former Beatle’s production team invited the students to rehearse the sound check of the show, which took place on the same day, in the afternoon.
Five teachers and 50 students were invited. The students were selected via a form sent via email by the coordinator of the university’s music department. Whoever filled out first would be guaranteed the opportunity.
What they didn’t expect was that, even after the soundcheck, they would still receive free tickets to McCartney’s show. The invitation was shared by user X (formerly Twitter) this Friday morning, the first:
And what about Paul McCartney who allowed music students from UNB and Brasilia music schools to attend the sound check and gave everyone premium tickets to the dance floor at the end?
