The show of the American singer Beck, which was supposed to take place this Saturday (2/12) at the Vivo Rio concert hall, in Rio de Janeiro, was canceled one hour before the gates opened for public entry. According to Live Nation and Ticketmaster social media posts, the cancellation is due to “health reasons.”
In short, the official statement reads: “For health reasons, Beck will not be able to perform at Vivo Rio today. We apologize for any inconvenience.”
The post also explains that “information on the refund will be communicated soon by Ticket Master”.
The announcement left many fans on social media unhappy.
The night before, Beck met Caetano Veloso at the Jockey Arena. He observed a samba circle in space and later shared a click with the Bahian. “I can barely describe the joy of this place,” she wrote on her Instagram story.
Beck also has a show scheduled for Sunday (3/12) in Sao Paulo, at the Primavera Sound festival, but there is no information yet on whether this show will be postponed.
