C6 Fest announces an eclectic line-up for the second edition

C6 Fest announced this Tuesday (12/5) the complete program of its second edition, which will take place again at Parque do Ibirapuera, in Sao Paulo, in the second quarter of 2024. The music festival aims to “renew bets on emerging talents and established names” of different genres.

The full list highlights the alternative rock group Pavement, who defined the ’90s, and the synth-pop duo Soft Cell, veterans of the ’80s, still remembered today for the hit “Tainted Love”.

Among the new talents, the list includes the wonderful Romy, singer of the British duo The XX in her solo work, the British electronic music trio Young Fathers, the American neo-soul duo Black Pumas, the neo-soul singer Daniel Caesar, the alternative duo hip hop Paris, Texas, hip hop supergroup Dinner Party (not to be confused with the girl band of the moment, The Last Dinner Party), British post-punk band Squid, pop singers Noah Cyrus (Miley’s sister) and Raye, Nigerian Ayra Starr, indie Cat Power (who will sing Bob Dylan), iconic house DJ David Morales, as well as jazz artists Charles Lloyd Quartet, Jihye Lee Orchestra and Chief Adjuah, Cuban Cimafunk and Brazilian artists Fausto Fawcett and Jaloo (who will invite Gaby Amarantos to share his stage).

The C6 Fest will also promote the title “Baile Cassiano”, a show that celebrates the repertoire of the famous Paraíban soul artist. The presentation will be led by musical director Daniel Ganjaman and will feature Francisco Gil, Preta Gil, Liniker, Luccas Carlos and Negra Li.

Furthermore, the event will have the Pacubra initiative, at the Pavilhão das Culturas Brasileiras, with an exclusive line-up of DJs such as David Morales, Valentina Luz and the “Pista Quente” party.

About the festival

Next year, C6 Fest will have three single-ticket stages, with the exception of the jazz stage which will have separate sales with reserved seating. Tickets will have an exclusive presale with a 20% discount for C6 Bank customers on 6 and 7 December.

General ticket sales will begin on Friday (8/12), on the By Inti website, with prices ranging between R$660 (day pass) and R$1,200 (passport with access to the Heineken Arena and Metlife Tent). The jazz program at the Ibirapuera Auditorium will have ticket prices between R$560 and R$1,000.

The next edition is scheduled for May 17th and 19th, at Ibirapuera Park (SP).
