C6 Fest returns to Parque Ibirapuera on 17, 18 and 19 May 2024, the result of the partnership between C6 Bank and Dueto Produções. The event renews its focus on emerging talents and established names ranging from jazz to rock, from soul to pop, through MPB, electronica and world music.
The program includes more than 30 artists from 10 countries, who will perform in the capital of São Paulo on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of Parque Ibirapuera. The shows take place at the Ibirapuera Auditorium, its outdoor area overlooking the lawn (called Heineken Arena), the Metlife Tent and the modernist Pacubra – Pavilhão das Culturas Brasileiras building, which will host the selection of DJs and part of the public area . .
“It is a joy to be able to organize the second edition of the C6 Fest. We believe that the festival managed to honor the memory of the old Free Jazz, which has always been part of my emotional memory, and left its mark in the busy festival programme,” says Alexandra Pain, marketing manager at C6 Bank.
“The beauty of a festival like C6 Fest lies in expanding our sensitivity, in opening our sonic horizons. This is the greatest meaning for me, combining established names with the new. If in the past names like Chet Baker, Ray Charles and Sarah Vaughan were joined by talents like Bobby Mc Ferrin, Philip Glass and John Zorn, today we continue to pave the way for new creative forces”, summarizes Monique Gardenberg, founder of Dueto Produções.
