Singer Simone released three of her albums in Spanish on music platforms last week. Are they: The distance (1987), Simon (1991) e 25th December (1996) which are now available on digital platforms. The recovery of the catalog of one of MPB’s greatest performers follows the tribute received during the 2023 Latin Grammy Awards.
The legendary artist went to Sevillein November, receive the Award for Musical Excellencewhich pays homage to all the work created in his 50 years of career. The result highlights the impact the artist has had on the Latin market as a whole six albums in Spanish.
The albums also arrive in time for Christmas celebrations. Simonwho was born in December 25, 1945pioneered the holiday-themed album. 25th December was launched in 1995 in Brazil with 11 tracks. The Spanish version of the album, previously unreleased digitally, was released worldwide in 1996 and brought the artist even closer to the Spanish public.
