DFONNSO Explores Retrowave Aesthetics for New Release
Singer DFONNSO, one of the promises of the new generation of pop music in Brazil, launched “From inside out” exploring an inherent aesthetic that we are used to. Track brings the retrowave style, inspired by the hits of the 80s. Its release is now available on all digital music platforms, and accompanies a music video on YouTube.
Written by Daniel Ferreira, Guga Fernandes, Lucas Vaz and Tiê Castro, and produced by Wagner Dereck, The song tells the story of an unequal love, where one of the partners does not respond to the feelings. DFONNSO highlights the importance of emotional responsibility in relationships, conveying the message that everything has limits and that the heart does not wait indefinitely. The singer shares that the song reflects his own experience, a real story in which both postponed the moment to face the situation, something that only managed to become clear later.
The clip directed by Mess Santos, explores the play of shadows and lights in an intimate environment, showing DFONNSO playing the guitar, singing and bringing to life “From inside out”.
