Parada Cidade Dutra was inaugurated in 1957 and, after three unused decades, she will receive a new structure to bring fans to the music festival at the Interlagos Racetrack
Deactivated since the 90s, the Dutra City StationFrom line 9-hemerald, it will be temporarily reactivated in the context of the Special Operation of the Town 2025 Express Train, a festival that will bring together Brazilian and international artists in September in the state capital. The station is located 500 meters from the gate of the Interlagos race track, which houses the event. The new stop will be used exclusively for boarding and landing of customers of the express access service to the event.
The votability, responsible for the 8-Diamond lines and 9-hemerald, has invested more than R $ 1 million in the reactivation of the station, which will operate only within the five days of the Festival-6, 7, 12, 13 and 14 September.
The temporary structure of the station will have a provisional platform, a ramp of accessibility, toilets, cameras and a trained surveillance system, as well as reporting and specific visual communication for the Festival.
According to the dealer, the Cidade Dutra station will work as a strategic point to facilitate customers access to the festival without interfering with the normal functioning of the 9-hemerald line. The separation between the two services – expressed and regular – guarantees more agile and organized shipments, improves the surrounding circulation and reduces the impact for those who live or work in the region, says the company.
The regular service of the 9-Esmeralda line will normally continue through the Autodromo station, which will operate 24 hours at the festival days, as an alternative continues to transport the public.
This year, the Festival brings big names in international music such as Mariah Carey, Lauryn Hill, Travis Scott, Green Day, Backstreet Boys, Katy Perry and Lionel Richie. Among the national attractions there are artists such as Iza, Ludmilla, Joelma, Ivete Sangalo, Pitty, Criolo, Pericles and Gloria Groove.
Inauguration in the 1950s
The Cidade Dutra station was inaugurated in 1957, with the southern extension of the extension of Jurbatuba, which led him to the Souza Evangelist station. The way he frequented it was electrified. The building is wood, with its combined warehouse to the boarding platform.
So the station was deactivated and served by accommodation. Despite the reconstruction of the jurubatuba-varginha section by the CPTM since 2007, the station has remained standing and is currently close to the 9-Emerald Autodrome line station.
The interventions for the temporary reactivation of the line were authorized by the state government.
The Municipal Secretariat of Culture and Creative Economy informs that the Cidade Dutra station is not the complete reversal of Conpresp. The protected area includes the stretch between PlÃnio Schmidt Street, near n. 547, and the CPTM domain, in front of block 085, to Jardim Marcel.
