Singer Daniela Mercurio launched on all digital platforms this Friday (15th)u I’m Carnival, a musical documentary recorded during the celebrations. In addition to his audiovisual work, the artist also released an album with 21 live songs recorded for the 2023 Carnival.
This work joins the celebrations of the hitmaker’s 40th career anniversary The corner of the city. With more than 100 people involved in this production, including musicians, dancers, directors, producers and technicians, Juliano Bacelar’s film brings the singer’s moving testimonies to the carnival.
“It was the first post-pandemic carnival. I knew it would be very special. During the pandemic I discovered that I needed Carnival more than it needed me. It was wonderful to come back and be able to record my emotions and be moved by what I experienced.“, concluded Daniela.
