Lord made a mysterious publication that sparked fans’ curiosity, this Sunday, the 17th. The New Zealand singer posted a photo on Instagram using headphones and wrote: “Listing to me.” Internet users soon started to fill the comments suggesting that a new album is getting closer to being released.

“We want to hear you too, but you need to release the album, love,” commented one fan. “MY GOD?! You’re going to kill everyone with this album,” said another.
To calm the public, however, the owner of the hit “Royals” responded to one of the comments, but deleted it shortly afterwards:
We’re not that close, guys… I’m getting so excited and I needed you to know… Start getting excited with a spark and let it simmer gently. We are building resistance for this chapter.
Lorde responds to fan account thinking her recent post is about new music:
